Washington Baths

Washington Baths and Poole Music Instagram Asset Washington Baths and Poole Music Instagram Asset

Digital asset for Poole Music’s concert at Washington Baths, a public sauna in Portland, Maine. Emphasizing the sauna’s logomark, the Rod of Asclepius, as well as the music of Lieven Martens and JAB. Their music is inspired by The West in the United States, bringing up associations of vast landscapes traversed on empty highways.

The images were created with the AI image generator, craiyon. The prompt: “rod of asclepius chrome shiny hood ornament on the hood of a car in the desert on a highway.”

Lefthand LA

Mobile version of Lefthand LA

Desktop version of Lefthand LA

Website design and development for Lefthand LA via Shopify. Together with Marius Tetlie and Einar Andersen.

LeftHand LA is a one-of-a-kind clothing line by Julie Kucharski, combining repurposed garments with a digital collagist approach to DIY. Established in 2012, everything is handmade in Los Angeles.

We began the project, by organizing the clothing into collections: One-of-a-Kind, Production, Collaboration and Archive. We then developed a frame for each collection as well as for New items. Inspired by Myspace decorative GIFs, these chrome collaged frames play off of the Lefthand heart logo.

Besides a clearer sense of organization we also wanted to provide mobile users with larger images of each clothing item. While the desktop version has interactive elements to explore.
